Dystopian Girls 2 Page 10
After a heavy sigh, she said, "Of course not. You are right. I'm just embarrassed by my inability to control my emotions."
"Well, you shouldn't be," I said. "I like seeing you get jealous over me."
"I'm not jealous!" she said, somehow managing to spin around in the firm grip of my arms to face me.
Our lips were almost touching when I asked, "What is it then?"
"I don't know," she answered, unaccustomedly flustered. I gave her a look that said that I didn't believe her. "I guess I feel a little betrayed. I mean, I want you to have all that you desire. This clan is yours to do with as you wish. But I saved you from her. And now you are dancing with the enemy. I guess that I am not as quickly moved by her emotional display as the rest of you are."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"No, you don't have to be sorry. It's my fault. I'll get myself under control soon enough. Maybe I'll have another shot. Liquor seems to have helped everyone else forget. Camilla is yours to do with as you please. I have no right to cock block you, pardon the expression."
"Oh. Now I understand. You think this is about me desiring a new clan member more than I desire you."
"No, that's not what I said." She averted her eyes and blushed.
"Well, let me set the record straight. I will never feel toward Camilla even close to the way I feel about you. That dance was more about accepting her as a person. It was about giving her a legitimate opportunity to find a place in our group. Not in my bed. I expect you to watch her like a hawk and always have my back. I will always do the same for you."
"I know that."
"Then, where is the misunderstanding?" I asked as I stared into her eyes. I could see her desire gazing back at me. It was much different than Alexa's or Jada's. Riley wanted to be appreciated more than she needed to be loved. Telling her that in many ways I relied upon her more than anyone else would mean more than saying 'I love you' a hundred times. Yes, she also wanted to please me. Those were the same beautiful eyes that stared up at me from between my legs not long ago.
"I don't think there is a misunderstanding," she whispered as she glanced between my lips and my eyes. I took the hint and placed a soft kiss on her lips. It wasn't brief, but it also wasn't passionate. I hoped that I had gotten it right. From the glow on her face afterward I believed that I did.
"Riley, you mean so much to me," I said.
"Thank you," she replied, tearing up very uncharacteristically. "You mean everything to me."
CHAPTER ELEVEN:
I had once been incredibly awkward around girls, nearly petrified of beautiful women. I thought back to that first day that I had met Alexa. I was such a mess. She even compared me to a twelve-year-old boy! I was pathetic, but I couldn't help it. Fortunately, since then I had made a lot of improvements. There is nothing like living through the fall of mankind in the arms of an impressive harem to help you become a man.
There in the basement of our luxurious boarded up house running on forty-percent solar power as sub-human people and rabid beasts ran wild, I had five unbelievably attractive women all wanting me in one way or another. Well, I guess Seiko wasn't showing any signs yet, but still. Four gorgeous girls, then. All wanting to be my followers as well as my lovers.
Their distinct personalities were not only so different. They required me to care for them in unique ways. Though, I might not have done a perfect job of making them all happy that night, I did an amazing enough job that I felt like I deserved some sort of recognition. Of course, they themselves were my reward. And keeping them happy had become my job, which I was growing to love.
Alexa was too drunk for serious loving that night, but I was determined to hold her tight until she fell asleep. It was not the appropriate time for me to be sleeping round either. I did give everyone a 'good night' hug, followed by a peck on the lips just for Jada and Riley. The advancement of my relationship with the skinny pale skinned angel seemed to humor Jada to no end. She would tease the girl repeatedly about it. But Riley showed no signs of offense. If anything, their friendship was even stronger these days.
I woke up feeling like maybe I finally understood women. I imagined being interviewed for my relationship wisdom by a gentleman's magazine as I wandered down the hall toward the kitchen to see if I could fix some breakfast for everyone before they woke up. This new high view of myself was unrealistic, I knew. Still, I had reason to be proud.
My self-reverence came to an end when I was surprised by laughter coming from Jada's room as I passed by. She couldn’t be laughing to herself at a funny meme or social media post. Nor could it be a hilarious conversation over the phone. There had to be another individual in her room with her. And, the door was closed.
A few minutes later, I watched in shock as Seiko snuck out of the ebony goddess' room wearing only her panties. The rest of her clothes were clutched against her bare breasts as she tiptoed down the hall to the bedroom that we had prepared for her the day before. Any noise that I had made preparing breakfast had gone unnoticed by the new girl, as had my jaw dropping low enough to smack the counter.
Everyone had witnessed the two of them dancing slutty together the night before, but that was the alcohol, right? Jada had shown some interest in Alexa in the early days, but I had assumed that she was just playing around or attempting to get on my first girl's good side. She had confessed no prior lesbian experience, nor demonstrated same sex interest since. Seiko, however, could very well be a different story.
Shortly thereafter, while I was still contemplating the situation, Jada casually entered the kitchen. We typically greeted each other in the morning with a hug and a kiss. This morning was no different. She had put on some silky dress that she had found in one of the closets. It appeared to be intended for sleepwear. Her perfect form made the garment look like a red-carpet evening dress, though. The two large points poking against the fabric in the chest made it clear that she was not wearing a bra. I glanced lower in search of a panty line.
"Good morning, Mason, my love," she said to me after the quick kiss. "How are you this wonderful morning?'
"I'm good. How about you?"
"Fantastic. I had a great night's sleep, I think."
"Oh yeah? Is that pussy I smell on your breath?"
"Ha, Ha," she replied as she gave me a look out of the corner of her eye indicating that she wondered how much that I knew. "Did I get out of hand on the dance floor last night?"
"I didn't see Seiko naked on the dance floor. But I did just a minute ago coming out of your room."
"Oh my God," she said under her breath as she gripped the kitchen counter. she left her mouth hang open as her eyes darted back and forth. "Who else saw her?"
"Nobody. Just me. So, Seiko is a lesbian?"
Jada turned to face me with an unsure expression. "She's bi-sexual. And, no, I didn't eat her pussy. But we did dabble a little, I’m embarrassed to say. I must have been drunker than I thought."
"It's okay, you don't have to tell me." I continued setting out ingredients for a possible morning meal. I still wasn’t sure what to prepare. This new sordid development had me a bit off kilter. I tried to pretend like it was not big deal, but this new dynamic kind of was.
"Mason, please. I don't mind that you know. But I ask that you don't tell the others. Losing self-control could reduce their respect for me. I’m already feeling pretty low with the injury. I don’t think that I could stand it."
"You think that Alexa won't pick up on it?"
"Good point. But I have nothing to hide from Alexa anyway. I'll ask her to stay quiet about it. Just keep it from the rest of them."
"Why? That only leaves Riley, which obviously wouldn't have a problem with it. She practically offered oral sex to women when we first met. And then Camilla. I'm surprised that you would give a shit what she thinks."
"She'll tell Corinne and the others." Jada uttered, taking on a seriousness that demanded attention.
"Oh! You want to keep it from our enemies turned potential allies?"
>
"Yes."
Just then Riley glided into the room. Jada patiently awaited my response while attempting to help sort out breakfast.
"Okay," I replied as Riley came around the counter into my open arms. She was getting more comfortable with my morning greeting lately. She followed it with a quick hug and kiss for Jada.
"Is everything okay?" she asked.
"Yes," I answered, looking to steer the conversation away from the topic. Jokes were always a good distraction. "Jada was just telling me that she would like to watch the next time that you and I go at it."
"Really?" Riley asked her friend, almost showing excitement at the notion.
Jada smiled. "No, he's not being serious."
"You know that I would be okay with that if you did want to," Riley told her.
"Me, too," I added.
"Stop!" Jada laughed. "However, I haven't had any private time with Mason lately myself. Will it be my turn soon?"
"How's your hip?"
"It's so-so. I would be limited in my ability. In second thought, maybe we should wait."
"Wait for what?" Camilla asked as she joined us.
"The orgy," Riley replied totally straight-faced. The statement humored Jada and I, of course, but absolutely floored Camilla. The look on her face was pure shock.
"There's going to be an orgy?"
"No!" Jada responded through laughter. "No more sex talk! Let's eat and put together our task list for the day."
"Wait!" Camilla said looking lost. "Am I missing out on something?"
"No," Riley replied first, taking a step in Camilla's direction. When she flinched, Riley stopped. "I know that you want to feel more connected with our clan members. We all respect that. I personally can see how much you are trying to play nice. I promise you that we are not hiding anything from you that would help you belong here more."
"Thank you," Camilla told Riley, staring into her eyes the entire time that she was talking. "I want to... I mean, I'm sorry for... Uh. I just want to say thank you, Riley."
"What's going on in here?" Alexa asked as she approached wearing only an over-sized men's button-down white shirt. She knew how much I liked that look on her. She was no doubt picking up on the emotions in the room and curious about the proceedings.
"Oh my God," Jada muttered.
"Good morning, sweetheart," I greeted my beautiful wife. "Nothing much is happening this morning. It's just one person at a time walking up on the conversation."
"Has anybody checked on Seiko?" Alexa asked.
Jada slowly raised her hand. "I saw her earlier this morning. Her arm is hurting, but the bleeding has stopped. We might have to check for signs of infection, though."
"I have something to say," Camilla raised her voice to grab everyone's attention, placing one hand in the air with her fingers all together. We all turned to face her, some a little hesitant at what they might hear. "I hope that everyone focuses on the fact that I am revealing important information to you now and not that I have kept it a secret previously. With two of my new friends injured I think it's a good idea to tell you all that Corinne has some healing ability."
"You mean like a nurse?" Jada asked.
"No," Alexa interrupted. "She means that Corinne has the power to heal people."
"You are just now telling us this?" Jada, of course, focused on the negative aspect. She had been fighting her battle injury for a while. It not only limited her mobility and usefulness around the house, the wound had messed with her psyche. Her confidence had faded. Her sexuality had suffered. It had nearly turned her into someone else. And she hated it.
"Hold up," I jumped in. "Camilla is right. We didn’t even know that we would ever see that woman again. And she didn't have to tell us this. I imagine that she waited until she was more comfortable with our group. Besides, it is not her gift, it's Corinne's. Just because the woman can heal doesn't mean that she will. This information might even up the alliance, though. I'll approach the subject when they return today. If they return."
"Please understand also that it is not a cure all," Camilla said. "Her ability has failed in the past, mostly when the injury was severe. It's more like she can speed up the healing process, accelerate something that the body is already capable of doing. Both Jada's and Seiko's wounds shouldn't be too much for her to handle, but I couldn't say for sure."
"Thank you, Camilla," Alexa told her while touching her arm.
The news had struck Jada the hardest. First, the fact that Camilla had a friend that could possibly heal her, but then that she waited until now to bring it up. Jada had not been incredibly friendly toward Camilla lately, so it was understandable. Camilla also didn't know for sure that Corinne was still alive until yesterday. The information had no value if they were never to cross paths again.
Secondly, though, was hope that something could be done to get her back to perfect health immediately. Exercise and confidence in her physical abilities was a huge part of her personality. That had been taken from her. The fact that Corinne was the one that wounded her in battle in the first-place complicated matters even more. Jada had a hatred for that person, despite their similarities. She would need to humble herself to accept the woman's help.
We calmly finished breakfast and started on our task list for the day. Alexa and Riley changed the dressing on Seiko's arm and reapplied some disinfectant. I overheard Alexa asking her about her sexual preferences. From what I could hear, Seiko didn't mention spending any time with Jada, but she did confirm that she was indeed bi-sexual. No one seemed shocked by that revelation.
It was close to noon when we were alerted by a knock at the front door. The security camera showed just John and Bianka standing outside. If the others were nearby, they were not in view of the cameras. Instead of inviting them in, I stepped out onto the front porch with Alexa by my side. I had my new friend, the revolver in my hand pointed down. Both visitors acknowledged the weapon visibly. John's rifle was resting against one of the posts that held the small roof over the entrance area.
I looked around the area behind them. Let them think the pistol was for protection against skanks and other clans. "Where are the rest of your girls?" I asked John.
"Next door," he replied, pointing in the direction of the home they planned to occupy. "We killed a deer this morning. Corinne and Nadia are cleaning it up and separating the meat. It will go to waste without refrigeration, though. I thought that maybe we could store most of it here until we get the power working at our place. You can keep twenty percent for your clan in exchange for the service. If you can help me get the solar panels working over there, I'll up that to fifty percent. How does that sound?"
A quick glance to Alexa told me that John was being up front with me. "That sounds fair to me. However, I'd like request something else from you. We have two injured. I understand that one of your clan members is skilled in assisting with their recovery."
John and Bianka looked at each other briefly before he replied. I imagined that if Camilla was outside with us at that moment, she would be receiving the stink-eye from our guests. "I'll ask Corinne to help, but I'm not sure how much good she can do. What do we get in return for that favor?"
"I have lumber and hardware to secure your place as good as ours."
John thought about it for a few seconds, even scratching his head in the process. Finally, he answered, "Okay. We'll be back in a couple hours with the meat. Have the lumber and stuff ready. I'll bring Corinne and we'll see what she can do. Tomorrow we'll work on the power situation."
We shook hands on the deal, then they walked away. I couldn't help but watch Bianka's sexy stride from behind.
"Stop looking at her ass," Alexa told me.
"She reminds me of you," I retorted.
CHAPTER TWELVE:
It was mid-afternoon before we heard another knock at the door. The sun was shining brightly on our roof charging up our electrical supply. Sunny days also heated up the interior of our home to an uncomfortable level. I h
ad set the thermostat on eighty-two, and the air conditioner had just kicked on for the third time. I was worried that one day one of the units outside beside the building would start clanging. I would then need to repair it so as not to draw attention or disconnect that unit. Just the current hum of the machinery was enough to alert nearby people to our presence.
I was getting used to keeping the phone in my pocket, or Riley's, at all times so that we could keep an eye on the camera feed. Every fifteen minutes or so I would pull it out and have a look. I literally watched the three forms slowly approach our home from the direction of theirs next door. They were carefully dragging a tarp that had been well tied up. I assumed that it was full of meat from the recently killed deer. Venison they called it.
John and Corinne were pulling the cargo with ease, while Stella followed holding two rifles. She wasn't carrying them by the hand grips, though. I had to assume that she was not skilled with their use, only toting them for the other two to take if they spotted trouble. She glanced around nervously as they walked, obviously uncomfortable with the task that she had been assigned.
"Greetings, neighbor," I said merrily as I opened the large heavy door that was now much too fancy for a boarded-up building. Riley and Jada were nearby with their pistols ready as well, but I didn't expect any trouble. There was no longer any reason to make a show of strength.
"Greetings to you, too," John replied, slightly thrown off by my friendly welcome. "I've returned with the meat, and Corinne, as promised. How are we going to do this?"
"I see the two rifles. Are there any other weapons?"
"We all have pocket-knives, if those count. I'd rather not leave our stuff outside this time, if that's alright with you."
"I understand," I replied as I swung the door open wide. "Let Stella set the two rifles inside the door here. You can hold onto your knives, I think."
